HCA Midwest Health merger results in region's largest women's services providers | HCA Midwest Health (2024)

Overland Park, Kansas—HCA Midwest Health, Kansas City’s leading healthcare system and largest provider of services for women and babies, announces two well-known practices merging with Kansas City Women’s Clinic, providing greater access to OB/GYN care. Kansas City Women’s Clinic was founded in 1953 and has served patients in both Kansas and Missouri for decades.

As part of the vision for HCA Midwest Health to improve access for high-quality women’s healthcare, Specialists in Women’s Care, and Midwest Women’s Healthcare Specialists, have merged with Kansas City Women’s Clinic. These physicians and nurse midwives will offer high-quality, compassionate care for women including high-risk OB/GYN services, pregnancy planning and gynecological care. The providers will continue to practice at Overland Park Regional Medical Center and Research Medical Center, respectively and offer clinic locations in Kansas — Kansas City, Overland Park, Olathe, Lansing — and Missouri — Belton, Harrisonville, Kansas City and North Kansas City.
