FINDING THE FLOW IN AUGUST depends on being in your element. So that’s Fire (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius), Earth (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn), Air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) or Water (Cancer, Scorpio, Pisces). I’ll go through the most important days of August here. Allow a day either side for all time zones.
If you have your natal chart you will already know if you are mostly fire, earth, air or water. That helps you connect with the right people, on the right dates in August 2023. It’s elementary, like this NFT range we’ve created.
THE ART OF ASTROLOGY IS ALSO KNOWING WHICH DATES TO SKIP. A Full Moon is a good example. The Full Moon is a full stop. It is always in opposite signs. People are headed in opposite directions then. This one is on August 1st at 11.59am GMT and falls with the Sun at 9 Leo and Moon at 9 Aquarius.
If you visualise an electric fan at full speed, pointed at a barbecue that’s overheating (see Fire and Air above) you’ll see why August 1st is difficult. This is obviously a day for wild fire risk as well.
WE HAVE A COUPLE OF RETROGRADE CYCLES TO WATCH too. Venus Retrograde in Leo and Mercury Retrograde in Virgo. So, flow that goes backwards and forwards. If you happen to have anything at the degrees I mention below, you’ll do just that.

You are among the luckiest groups as Jupiter (the lucky planet) is already in Taurus anyway, the earth sign we link to money, property, charity, valuables and business. Dominant earth people are grounded. They are productive. If you have anything in your chart at these signs and degrees, it’s a rare date.

BEING IN YOUR ELEMENT THIS MONTH depends on understanding how these ancient astrological timing devices work. If you are water-dominant, for example, you can feel the flow blocked when you come up against weather patterns in opposite signs. If you are strongly Cancer, that’s Capricorn. Strongly Scorpio? That’s Taurus. Strongly Pisces? That’s Virgo.
